Objective. To present monitoring of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) after implantation of left ventricular assist device (LVAD). Material and methods. There were 26 patients (4 women and 22 men) with LVAD between 2014 and 2022. Mean age of patients was 48±15 years. The main cause of CHF in 7 patients was dilated cardiomyopathy, in 18 cases — ischemic cardiomyopathy, in 1 patient — acquired aortic valve disease. All patients had terminal stage of CHF before surgery. Results. LVAD was implanted in 9 patients as a bridge to transplantation, in 17 patients — as destination therapy; 20 patients re-ceived Heart Mate 3 model, 6 patients — Heart Ware. Most patients were discharged in 15±3 days after surgery without complications in early postoperative period. Conclusion. LVAD implantation is effective to improve quality of life in patients with end-stage CHF. Systemic work will help to improve the results after implantation of these devices.
