The current level of the information and communication infrastructure, aimed at development of power supply systems, allows them to operate as systems with self-organization properties and the ability to independently solve arising internal problems. These systems operate in non-stationary environments that depend on weather, time, seasonal, and many other parameters. Electricity consumption management is carried out on the basis of various concepts that are considered in the article: the use of distributed resources, demand side management, differentiated tariffs, flexible tariffs. One of the objectives of the study is the consideration of the possibility of allocating more time zones. A mathematical model of electricity consumption in households has been established that use four time zones, two of which are formed to account the time load and the availability of smart devices with shifting consumption capablity.
