Environmental protection and analytical verification of oil-containing wastewater is one of the main activities carried out around the globe. Insufficient attention to the issues of wastewater treatment from these pollutants can lead to serious consequences. This can be avoided if the treatment facilities are operated correctly. A significant share of the countrys water reserves is used for technical needs. The huge scale of water consumption puts forward the task of preserving the quality of water in reservoirs and the rational use of the countrys water resources among the most pressing economic problems. An increase in water consumption leads to an increase in the volume of wastewater discharged and pollution of reservoirs. The method of wastewater treatment by flotation with the use of coagulants and flocculants has become the most widespread in oil refineries.
