Current state and innovative development of the agrarian sector: Comparative analysis of trends in different regions

In modern competitive conditions, the innovation component is the main one in analysing competitive advantages. Since this is true for the agricultural sector as well, the evaluation of this component is important in this field. Thus, the aim of this article was to analyse the formation of the latest technologies in different regions of the world, and to make an analysis of trends in them. The study used descriptive analysis, abstraction, comparative analysis, inductive reasoning, synthesis, and graphical methods. The study showed that trends in innovation in the agricultural sector can vary significantly between countries. When analysing the situation in the European Union, attention was paid to the advanced position of the association in comparison with other countries. The situation in individual countries, such as Poland and Germany, was assessed in more detail. On their basis, it was shown that there are differences in the peculiarities of innovation development within the European Union. Trends in the United States of America were also assessed, showing the advanced use of new technologies in the agricultural sector and the role of large corporations in this context. The situation in Kazakhstan was also described, as well as the initiatives in the direction of innovation in agriculture that it is experiencing. Separate recommendations for further development of the sector and the latest technologies in it were also offered. The findings of the study can be used to formulate long-term policy for the development of the agricultural sector in Kazakhstan, as well as by companies to formulate development strategies.
