The study focuses on the fundamental conditions that govern the formation and spatial distribution of hydrocarbon accumulations identified in the North Ustyurt region. It examines hydrocarbon sources, the timing of their generative potential, the impact of tectonic activity on reservoir productivity, and the age of the host rocks. Particular attention is paid to the migration pathways of hydrocarbons from sources to traps and the methods for identifying the most promising areas for exploration activities.
