The relevance of the research is due to the positive changes in the post-Soviet space, in particular, the current trends in the democratization of Kazakhstan and the growth of national consciousness. In this context, it is necessary to expand the presentation and analysis of acts of constitutional significance in Kazakhstan adopted between 1917 and 1919. In this regard, this article aims at revealing the historical and legal aspects of the Kazakh national movement for the creation of autonomy during the revolutionary crisis of 1917-1919, focusing on the analysis of acts of constitutional significance in Kazakhstan during this period. Taking into account the fact that the study is of a historical and legal nature, the leading method for studying acts of constitutional significance in Kazakhstan in the period of 1917-1919 was the historical and legal method, which allows a comprehensive review of acts of constitutional significance in Kazakhstan adopted in the period of 1917-1919. The article also uses a number of general scientific methods, such as the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of deduction, the method of induction, the method of analogy and other general scientific methods, as well as a number of special methods of cognition, which include historical-legal, comparative-legal, formal-legal and structural-functional, and others.
