The possibility of introducing plasma ignition of fuel in combustion chambers of power boilers was investigated by using 3D computer modeling methods. Computational experiments were carried out on operating boilers, and a comparison of the characteristics of the combustion process for traditional fuel combustion and its thermochemical variant was carried out. Plasma technology allows the concentration of carbon and nitrogen oxides at the outlet of the furnace to be reduced. The results obtained showed the efficiency of thermochemical plasma activation of fuel and the possibility of its application in real heat and power facilities to optimize combustion processes and minimize harmful emissions.
