X-ray radiometric tools and a hardware-software system (HSS) for the spectral analysis of minerals make it possible to solve unique scientific and practical problems. One of these tasks is the development of intelligent systems for performing mine surveying and geodetic work with spectral scanning function of ore. Such search models will allow for efficient and rational search and sensing of ore deposits. This paper presents mathematical models of the HSS for an ore spectral analysis based on the development of generalized response function of a device detector and algorithms for determining element grade in a sample. The determining of element composition is solved by generalized function minimizing, which is a root-mean-square deviation from the parameters of the studied ore from the reference. The developed algorithm for determining element grade in ore grade includes the main modules such as spectrometer energy calibration, complete calculation of elements grade from found intensities, calculation of mass attenuation coefficients of primary and secondary radiation for an average sample, etc. Based on the minimization of detector response function and algorithm calculation, software was developed based on Object Pascal in Delphi 7 and several modules based on C + and Assembler, intended for processor firmware. The interface and results are presented in the form of various plots. As a result, the HSS was implemented as simple X-ray radiometric devices considered for installation on UAVs.
