The main objective of this study is to analyze the use of terminological verbs in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and understand their impact on specialized communication. The methodology of this study involves the collection and analysis of various sources, including translated academic documents (French – English), research publications, and technical texts related to AI. The analysis focuses on identifying relevant terminological verbs, with a particular emphasis on their frequency of use and argument patterns. The results of the analysis reveal a rapid evolution of terminological verbs in the field of AI, in correlation with technological advancements and the emergence of new concepts. Some verbs, such as optimize, detect, and learn, stand out due to their predominance, reflecting their central role in key areas of AI research and application. The study highlights the need to closely monitor and adapt terminology to keep pace with constant technological advances. It can play a crucial role in guiding the establishment of terminological standards in the field of AI and facilitating the dissemination of knowledge in this ever-expanding domain.
