The article examined the chemical constituents of the medicinal plant of Kazakhstan origin Frangula alnus, as well as the effect of buckthorn bark extract on the lipid and antioxidant effects in rats with hyperlipidemia. The study showed the role and protection of the liver from alcoholism in animal models of the medicinal plant Frangula alnus. A model of mice with alcoholic fatty liver was established by feeding daily liquid food based on Liber-Decarl alcohol for 20 days. For 20 days, an injection of 10% chloral hydrochloride at a dose of 0.3 ml / 10 g was used. No changes in the biochemical index of blood and liver oxidase were observed in mice. The prophylactic effect of Frangula alnus on C57BL / 6 showed that serum and liver homogenization of serum and liver homogenate was reduced, and serum and liver homogenization of the drug group was P <0.01 or P <0.05. Significant differences in the degree of total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) increase and liver homogenization in the malondialdehyde (MDA ) group of drugs decreased to varying degrees. Therefore, the medicinal plant Frangula alnus can enhance lipid peroxidation in the liver of mice, enhance the metabolism of alcohol in the liver, absorb, improve the activity of free radicals, and protect the liver.
