Initially, there were 13.1 symptoms of PMS for each girl, while psycho-emotional symptoms were 5.1; neurological - 2.7; water-electrolyte - 2.0; gastrointestinal - 2.7; skin 1.7 and musculoskeletal 3.5. Two girls indicated 26 and 21 symptoms. Psychoemotional symptoms were in 100% and were effectively stopped by Prefemin (71%), a similar effect in the group of water and electrolyte symptoms (71%). The group of musculoskeletal symptoms was initially the second in frequency (in 77.4%), but with a lesser effect of therapy (in 58.1%), the group of skin manifestations, which were noted by 17 girls (54.8%), on the positive effect of therapy indicated 8 girls or 1/2 of the original. Problems persisted regarding acne. Conclusion. Agnus castus at a dose of 20 mg per day for 3 months is effective in relieving most of the symptoms of PMS in adolescents aged 18-19 years and is a significant alternative to SSRIs. The la ck of effect within 3 months of PMS therapy is the basis for an additional examination and clarification of the diagnosis.
