The relevance of the study is conditioned by the widespread prevalence of diseases of the cardiovascular system in modern cities and the need to develop and put into practice effective measures aimed at improving cardiological care at the levels of its provision in a large city. The purpose of this study is a theoretical assessment of the possibilities of improving cardiological care at the levels of its provision in a modern large city and an assessment of the prerequisites for the practical implementation of this kind of assistance in the practice of inpatient medical institutions of the healthcare system of large modern cities. The basis of the methodological approach is a combination of methods of systematic analysis of the principles of improving cardiological care at various levels of its provision in a large city, with a statistical investigation of key aspects of cardiological care on the example of a number of outpatient clinics in Almaty. The results obtained indicate the need for the development and practical implementation of the principles of improving cardiological care in a large city, to ensure the timely provision of necessary assistance to citizens when they detect various diseases of the cardiovascular system. The findings and the conclusions formulated on their basis have significant practical significance for medical professionals whose professional duties include providing cardiological care to citizens living in modern large cities, for patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases and in urgent need of qualified medical cardiological care.
