The process of modeling a magnetic field under magnetic abrasive machining of complex surfaces of engineering products is considered. Spherical shapes and surfaces of small-modular gears are considered as complex-profile surfaces. The intensity and magnetic induction of the magnetic field are determined, by which the effectiveness of the magnetic abrasive processing method is evaluated. The optimal values of the angle α in the processing zone have been identified, affecting the surface quality of the products with the magnetic abrasive processing method. The results of the dependence of the relative induction β on the value of the angle α are presented.
