Integrating data analysis technology into modern methodological approaches for enhanced quality management in education

The aim of the study is an initial examination of the effectiveness of the author’s approaches based on modern methodological approaches to managing the quality of the educational process in the context of utilizing data analysis technologies for student engagement. The research sample consisted of 94 third-year students majoring in “Management” at Arkalyk Pedagogical University named after Ybyray Altynsarin, considering academic performance data from the 2021–2022 academic year. The study involved the development of an engagement analysis program for both academic and extracurricular activities over two semesters of the third academic year, titled Your Effectiveness. In the experimental group, student engagement significantly increased following the implementation of the program. Furthermore, students demonstrated improved academic performance, particularly evidenced by a positive decrease in the proportion of those with mediocre results. The control group of students predominantly did not show significant improvements in academic success during this period, indicating substantial gaps in the educational system. This current study may serve as the foundation for further experiments on the use of modern digital technologies to monitor and improve the quality of the educational process in universities. It may also be used as a prototype for developing quality improvement programs in Russian universities and for expanding the use of digital technologies in educational services.
